Star Cluster Coreopsis
The Eyes Have It
Coreopsis Star Cluster (Tickseed), Coreopsis 'Star Cluster', grows 18-24” tall, is compact, and a well-branched plant. The healthy bright green foliage of this coreopsis remains attractive all season.
‘Star Cluster’ delivers a profusion of creamy white petals with purple centers and with golden heads. It has continuous and colorful blooms from early summer through early fall. Deadheading is not necessary!
As the weather cools, a deep purple eye appears on each flower with a purple edge along each petal.
This coreopsis makes an amazing colorful specimen in containers or when planted in a mass or in front of borders. Plant 'Star Cluster' into well-drained, lean, non-clay soils, and it thrives in poor soil and has low water needs.
‘Star Cluster’ will easily add beauty to any trouble spot in your garden! Pair it with red or yellow flowers for an outrageous display of floral color! Butterflies find it irresistible and deer leave it alone.
