Coral Bells - Mahogany
Coral Bells Mahogany, Heuchera 'Mahogany', looks especially good around the edge of borders, near variegated plants, woodland edges, rock gardens, perennial borders, or in mass to form an attractive ground cover.
It is excellent in partly shaded borders, under trees, and even mixed into ornamental containers on shady patios.
Coral Bells is susceptible to rot, so good drainage is essential while roots establish themselves.
This plant is best grown in organically rich, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. It performs well in full sun in the north, but generally prefers some shade in the south. If grown in full sun, consistent moisture is important.
Coral Bells adds flavor to any perennial garden. Plant it in containers or just about anywhere. It attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
