Rose of Sharon - Lavender Chiffon™

Lavender Chiffon™ Hibiscus, Hibiscus syriacus 'Notwoodone' (PP12,619), has large, single lavender flowers adorned with a lacy center to create an anemone-like bloom.

Masses of fully double 3-to 4-inch blooms appear in late summer.  It is one of the longest-blooming as well as most prolific Hibiscus!

It is beautiful when used in a mixed container to create a dramatic focal point, but will need to be moved to the landscape as it matures.

Lavender Chiffon grows in any soil unless it is either really wet or extremely dry.  This deciduous shrub prefers full sun and is disease and pest resistant.

This is one tough plant, and is able to maintain itself through good weather and poor alike.

This elegant, large shrub creates an amazing focal accent in the  landscape. It becomes an incredible plant when pruned into a small tree.

It is a nice choice for a background planting to low-growing shrubs.  With proper care, 'Notwoodone' will reward you with months of blooms every year!
