Grows Fast Review by RB of NE
Have slightly alkaline soil and about 20 inches of rain per year. The Buffalo berry grows fast. It is planted close to the house and this may have affected it's root support, as it has been blown over twice. So probably shouldn't plant it next to your home or a building with a foundation. Have had it for four years and no berries yet. Not sure why?
Tough Review by SM
This plant is tough as nails. We live @ high altitude in a semi-arid environment with lots and lots of wind. Still - it was the first plant to start budding in the spring and the last plant to lose its leaves in the fall. Need to explore pruning though - it can get wild.
