
Blackberry - Natchez
The Blackberry 'Natchez PP20891', Rubus 'Natchez', is a high yielding, thornless blackberry with early season fruits. The fruit of 'Natchez' are elongated, somewhat blocky, and very attractive with an exceptional glossy, black finish.
Some outstanding characteristics of 'Natchez' include early fruit-ripening date, high fruit quality, consistent high yields, large fruit size, and excellent post harvest fruit-handling potential; disease resistant.
'Natchez' should be tipped at 42 inches to encourage to fruit lateral and avoid the need for support. 'Natchez' is tolerant of a wide range of soils, but will do best in a well drained, humus enriched one.
