Don't give up on growing Roses! At Last® Rose (Rosa x 'HORCOGJIL') is the easiest Rose you'll ever grow! Perfect for both experienced Rosarian and total newbies alike. This is one of the 'best of the best' of modern Landscape Shrub Roses. At Last® is a robust Rose shrub that is carefree and reblooming. It features fragrant clusters of beautiful flowers all summer. You'll get the look of a fully petaled Hybrid Tea Rose, with very modern care requirements.

The blooms are cupped and double-bloomed and packed with petals. Buds open to deep apricot orange with yellow-toned centers. They'll age to a lovely light pink. You'll enjoy all these soft colors on a single plant! You might have some fun trying to describe all the colors to your long-distance friends. Flowers start appearing in late spring and continue to produce in flushes all the way through the first frost of the winter.

For a very small amount of work, you'll get scented Roses that have double-cupped flowers and that comes in an exquisite color that goes with everything! Soft coral? Honeyed apricot? Melting dreamsicle? Peachy-salmon? Every time you look at your At Last® Rose, the color will look fresh and new! The appealing soft colors will also blend well with any other color in the garden. You can count on At Last® to look amazing in your landscape.

It will smell fantastic, too! At Last® is a treasured breakthrough! The yummy "True Rose" fragrance is described as sweet and pleasant with a hint of spicy clove. Dry the scented peachy petals for homemade potpourri and sachets! Bring the complex orange blossoms inside for a gorgeous cut flower display that lasts a long time.

Of course, At Last® is also field-tested by the Proven Winners® team to deliver a high performance. It is remarkably long-blooming. It is cold hardy and very heat tolerant, it grows throughout USDA growing zones 5-9, so people across most of the United States can grow At Last® Rose. You’ll thoroughly enjoy these fragrant, disease-resistant Hybrid Tea Roses! What more could you ask for?

Planting and Application:

This perfectly modern selection makes a lovely partner plant. It looks incredible next to contrasting blue or purple flowers. Create a warm plant palette by planting adjacent colors like orange, red and scarlet blooms. You can even warm up the look of white-flowering plants with At Last® Rose. Pair them with dark purple foliage shrubs like Ninebark or Elderberry. They will also coordinate beautifully with small feature trees like the Purple Leaf Plum trees.

Try one as a wonderful specimen in a high-traffic area. Pop them into your garden border to add season-long bloom and fabulous scent. Plant them in large exterior containers, or use them in the ground. They'll effortlessly put on a stellar performance for you and your guests. Boost your curb appeal with a pair flanking either side of your front door.

They'll certainly work hard to enliven the sunny side of mature evergreen shrubs in your foundation planting. Use a long, low hedge to brighten up your patio planting, or front sidewalk.

Create several staggered rows as a mass planting to fill a wide, open area, transform a hard-to-mow hillside, or along the hell-strip along a sidewalk. Plant them 30 inches apart on center, and the individual plants will grow together and touch.

Decorate an outdoor Garden Room, Cottage borders, perennial beds and cut flower gardens are perfect locations for these small, space-saving shrubs! Rely on At Last® Roses to perform beautifully as a focal point.

#ProPlantTips for Care:

Provide At Last® Rose all-day sun, if you have it, or at least 6 hours of direct sunshine a day, favoring the drying powers of the morning sun. They'll also do best in well-drained soil. If you have sticky soil that retains water, plant them in a raised bed or container. We always recommend Nature Hills Root Booster when planting to get your Roses off to the best start.

Provide a medium amount of water on a regular basis. A three-inch layer of wood mulch is helpful to keep the root systems nice and cool. Very disease resistant, there should not be a need to spray At Last® Roses. However, you will want to apply an organic, granular, slow-release fertilizer in early spring and mid-summer. Mulch new plantings, and keep them weed-free as the Roses grow together.

Prune in early spring, just as the new buds start to emerge on the stems. You'll trim at least one-third of its total height each early spring. Cut at a 45-degree angle just above a nice new bud.
